Baby Product Reviews Inform You Before You Make Purchases

If you have ever had a new baby on the way, then you know how important it is to scrutinize every product you buy first and if you are expecting your first baby, you are probably even more confused about what to buy. You don’t want to invest in items that turn out to be pretty useless or sometimes even dangerous for your baby. The best way to make sure you buy quality baby items are to read informative baby product reviews before you buy them.
Picking out a safe baby bed that is also very functional is important. Convertible baby beds are so popular these days because they can be used from infancy to adulthood. Choosing a high chair that has great safety features is also important, but you want one that adjusts to several different heights and positions so you can use it for the longest length of time as the baby grows. Play pens are a wonderful thing to have. It allows the baby to play freely inside while parents are busy. Buying a play pen that travels easy is what most busy parents want also.
There are a lot of smaller items that parents find it hard to do without. Electrical outlet covers are so important after a baby gets up moving around on the floor. A bathwater thermometer is nice to have so you get the water temperature right every time. Even something as common as a diaper rash paste or cream can be confusing when trying to decide which one will work the best. Diaper rash is very common and you might end up going through a lot of this stuff.
These days, no parent wants to be without a baby monitor. They are so great to have when you can not be in the room with the baby. However today, parents don’t just want to be able to hear the baby, but they want to be able to see it too. The new digital wireless audio video baby monitors work so good. Nothing can give a parent more peace of mind that being able to see and hear their baby at all times anywhere they might be in the house.
Choosing a safe baby gate is just as important as any of these other items. A baby gate will give you peace of mind and allow you to move about the house while you keep the crawling or walking baby safely confined to one room. When you spend half of your day chasing the baby from room to room, you get exhausted and nothing gets done. You can bet as soon as they become mobile, babies are very hard to keep up with. Take time and care with all the products you buy for your baby and it will help you avoid costly mistakes in money and safety.

How Early In Pregnancy Do You Need Maternity Clothes
June 28, 2010 by Adriana Noton

All the symptoms are there and the test shows a pink plus sign, even the doctor confirmed your suspicions, you are definitely having a baby. As an expectant mother a million things are probably running through your mind and one of those things is probably how your body is going to change over the next nine months. So you may ask yourself, how early in pregnancy do you need maternity clothes.
There really is not set rule or time frame on when to start. Most women start in the second trimester around four or five months, while others may need to start soon after finding out. The only rule to really follow is that when you start to feel uncomfortable in pre-pregnancy clothes is the time to seriously consider doing a bit of shopping.
You’ll find that today the clothes to accommodate expecting mothers are a long way from the clothes your mother wore. They are more fashionable, more comfortable and come in a lot more different styles, shapes and colors. Finding tops to wear isn’t that hard, there are so many to choose from within the maternity line and out of. But when it comes to jeans and pants that is when things get a bit tricky. Locating a good pair is necessary, usually you’ll need more than one, as your body will change throughout and you’ll need something more comfortable the closer to the due date you get.
There are many different styles of maternity jeans to choose from, so picking the right one is easier now than before. You can be fashionable and comfortable at the same time because of the attention now paid to maternity clothing. Many different designers cater just to expecting mothers.
Some jeans have the front panel only, with the back part of the jean looking normal and the front with a stretchy material that goes over the bottom half of your belly. And there are some that have an interior adjustable stretchy waist. This allows your waistband to grow with your belly and they can last throughout the whole experience if the legs are roomy enough. These types are usually the most comfortable at the start for some women.
The belly band style is one of the most popular today though. The jeans begin under the belly and the belly band, which is a stretchy material, goes up over your belly, normally within two or three inches of the breasts. These types are especially comfortable for those who enjoy the hip hugger style of jean in keeping in their prepregnancy fashion style.
You will also find jeans with the belly band that can be folded down or pulled up, depending on what feels most comfortable for you. These are a good choice for those who want the extra support under the belly, by keeping the band folded down.
Asking how early in pregnancy do you need olian maternity clothes can give you a multitude of answers as each pregnancy is different. But as soon as you start to feel a bit more comfort is needed in your clothing then it is time to start checking out the shops or maternity clothes online for what you need. Think about buying just a few pieces of a time to get started and letting your body decide when the next shopping trip is.

Can You Trust The Baby Products You Buy
June 26, 2010 by Tiffany Ellis

How important is it to you to make sure you only buy the best and the safest products for your baby? It is the most important thing for most parents and you are probably no exception. How can you know for sure how well some baby products work? How can you be sure they have been fully tested for safety most of all? The people that will tell the truth faster than anyone else are the parents that have already bought products and have tried them. This is the source where you really want to get your information from.
Some of the most honest and reliable places to get baby product information are baby product review websites. They might be made by parents that have already first hand tested a product or by researchers that compare baby product pros and cons to one another. It is a good way to get the honest answers you want and help you decide what purchases you most need to make for your infant.
Babies do a lot of sleeping and when they sleep you have to do other things that you can’t always do while they are awake. A dependable baby monitor has become a parent’s extra eyes and ears. You can go with an old fashioned model that only allows you to hear the baby in their room or you can go a little more high tech and get a digital wireless audio video baby monitor. With one of these you can hear the baby and see the baby no matter where you are in the house. What about the baby bed where they sleep? Do you buy a standard crib or get a convertible baby bed that can be changed to suit the growth of the baby over the coming years?
Most parents find that the list of things they need for a baby has been almost endless by the time they head off to school. As soon as you can stop using a bathwater thermometer and a changing table, you are ready for electrical outlet covers. Playpens and baby gates keep them safe when they are big enough to get about. High chairs and exercisers serve their own special purposes too. Will you be able to know every product inside and out before you buy it?
There are a lot of different baby product manufacturers out there from food, to diapers, to toys. They are for the most part reliable, but even the biggest names sometimes have a problem with one model of something or the other. Learn to investigate all of the things you buy for your baby before you test run them with your child. It is the best way to keep them happy, healthy and safe all at the same time which is no easy thing for any parent.

Reading Starts At Birth
June 24, 2010 by Julie Ashton-Townsend

Reading is the most vital skill your child can learn. You may be one of those who think that a baby doesn’t do much but you are mistaken.Your baby can read early if you start young enough and that means right from birth. That may seem to be too early to you but it is not.
Reading from birth is possible. Babies learn even before birth. Start to stimulate your baby’s brain from the moment they are born. This means talking to your baby and surrounding your baby with rhymes and stories, music and songs, which will familiarize your baby with their native language. Researchers have shown that a baby is already used to hearing his or her mother’s speak This happens even before birth.
Did you know that the cry of a newborn has been shown to closely follow the speech patterns of the baby’s mother..
Reading is part of language as a whole. Speaking, listening, reading and writing are all linked and one cannot develop without the others. There are essential ‘pre-reading’ skills which must be learned if these language skills are to be mastered fully. These are learned through fun games and activities which engage your baby and teach important pre- reading skills needed to read later on in life.
These skills are auditory discrimination, visual discrimination, auditory and visual memory. These can be ‘taught’ or encourage by surrounding your baby in language right from birth. Talk to your baby all day long. Tell stories, sing nursery rhymes, read books, show posters and pictures with printed words and the alphabet.
Hang pictures and mobiles where your baby can easily see them. Hang them above your baby’s changing mat so that there is plenty for your baby to look at when they are being changed. This not only stimulates baby’s brain but keeps them amused and stops grumpy changing experiences when some baby’s hate laying flat. If you do all I suggest here your baby will become familiar with language in all its forms and your baby will be ready to read early and you will find find reading comes easily and naturally to your baby.

Preparing For Your First Child
June 22, 2010 by Ruth Williams
You know the old adage. If everyone waited until they were ready to have a baby, there would be no babies born at all. Even if no one is ever fully prepared for the upheaval that is childbirth, there are a few important things expecting mothers should know before the stork visits.
1. Getting your finances in order is always a good idea, particularly with all of the expenses a new baby can incur. Many people believe they must be financially secure before planning for a family, but it is possible to do without having a fortune at your disposal. Putting aside money well before you conceive is a good idea, but if not, sticking with a budget even after the baby is born is helpful.
2. In terms of physical preparation, always eat balanced meals, get rest while you can, and exercise moderately. Low-impact aerobic exertion such as walking is best. Always check with your physician before starting an exercise program while expecting, particularly if you didn’t exercise before your pregnancy.
3. There are many material goods you’ll need to gather prior to bringing home your baby. Diapers, blankets, and onesies are necessary, but don’t buy too much in terms of clothing right away, since babies grow constantly. For furniture, you’ll need a bassinet, baby swing, and changing table, as well as a high-quality baby carrier/car seat.
4. Designate a place for all of your important information, and inform your whole family where it is. This should include the phone numbers of your obstetrician and pediatrician, as well as the phone numbers of family members you’d like to call after the baby is born.
5. Something many expectant mothers find invaluable is keeping a pregnancy journal. This is obviously not a necessity, but can be a cherished keepsake for your child later in life. This book can include ultrasounds, baby’s hospital wrist bracelet, and motherly advice for the future.
While this can certainly be a stressful time in your life, taking steps to get ready can make it somewhat easier on you. It’s also encouraging to feel that you have done everything possible beforehand, and you can settle into your groove as a new mother after your blessed event.

What To Know When You Come Home With A New Baby

Bringing home a newborn is an exciting and scary thing all at the same time. While you are at the hospital your doctor’s and nurse’s are there to help you if you make a mistake. Once you come home with a new baby it is all up to you to take care of that precious bundle of joy. You have to be the one taking care of the baby.
If you are lucky you will have a partner or spouse that can help you through this transition period but they will be just as worried about things as you. No need to be worried however because there are many ways for you to learn to take proper care of your newborn if you don’t already know how.
If you are unfortunate enough not to have friends, neighbors, and family to help then you always have the internet. On the internet you can find all kinds of information about how to care for infants.
However before you leave the hospital your doctor as well as the baby’s pediatrician will tell you what you need to know. Do not hesitate to ask any questions you might have. This is your baby’s safety we are talking about so if you need to know something then ask.
You can also find classes for new parents that will teach you about caring for infants. You can find classes to take while you’re pregnant and classes to take once you have had your baby. The reason for these classes is so that new parents can learn everything they need to know to keep their baby happy and healthy. You will learn how much to feed them and how often. You will also learn how to burp your baby and when to burp them.
Babies are cuddly, cute and just precious but are more work than you might think. You have to learn to properly feed them. You can’t just stick the bottle in and feed them.
Internet marketing is a great trade for a Mom to study if she wants to work from home.
The Perfect Treatments For Morning Sickness
June 16, 2010 by Jane Scott

Some 90% of expectant moms suffer from morning sickness in the first development stages of pregnancy. Nausea as well as morning sickness do not pose great concerns, unless it is very serious. Really serious vomiting might lead to depletion of nourishing elements and thus could require that you see your health care professional.
Though called morning sickness, this could be experienced during all parts of the day. Becoming uneasy, fatigued or perhaps tired, decreased hunger, morning sickness and headaches can begin first thing in the morning. The signs and symptoms sometimes continue all through a day and occasionally just for a few hours.
To be able to overcome these ailments, there is no requirement to have normal medicine, since they can be manipulated successfully by simple home treatments. Drugs are unsafe during maternity as there are possibilities of harming a developing child. Some easy and efficient home remedies could possibly reduce suffering.
- Definitely do not hurry while coming out of bed. Step out of your bed relaxed and at ease.
- Get proper rest throughout the day, as well as overnight.
- Avoid particular aromas that cause morning sickness.
- Have dried cookies or maybe dried cereal products when you wake up.
- Avoid lots of spicy and oily foods, which may produce acid reflux disease and digestive system problems.
- Sensing particular oils like lemons, cuts down on morning sickness.
- Digest along with your desire and going just for brief frequent meals rather than big portions at once.
- Drink peppermint flavored tea and ginger, assists in decreasing morning sickness.
- Eliminate drinking lots of liquid at once. Liquids must always be consumed in small quantities all throughout a day to prevent dryness.
- Taking small quantities of healthy proteins snacks is better than an unfilled stomach, because this makes morning sickness worse.
There are absolutely no worries, concerning morning sickness. Yet, when ignored it could eventually cause weakness along with nutrient insufficiency in the initial trimester of conceiving.

How To Get Your Baby To Sleep
June 14, 2010 by Jane Heazlewood
You’re probably reading this as you’ve just brought home your newborn baby. Congratulations on a fantastic milestone. If you are feeling really nervous and excited as well, don’t worry about it. Many of us have been through it and it does get easier. It almost goes without saying that most parents want to know how to get their baby to sleep. Even more so, how do they get your baby to sleep longer through the night. After all no one really wants to stay up all night or wake up all through the night because their baby won’t sleep. So what can you do to help get your baby to sleep at night? Set a bedtime routine of course.
Babies love routine, its extremely important to them as it helps them to predict what is going to happen to them next. They don’t like surprises and the more routine their lives the happier they are. In fact most of them like routines so much they will fall into this new routine often within days. So the most important thing you can do is try to get your baby into a bedtime routine that works for all of you. Its really important to know before we go any further that most babies will wake up two to three times a night for a feed during their first few weeks, there is no real way of avoiding this. You can however make sure these night feeding times are just that, them waking up for a feed, not to play.
Its time to get your baby nice and relaxed and ready for bed and the best way to do this normally is by giving them a bath that is nice and warm. Nearly all babies love a good bath and a lot of them become really relaxed the moment they hit the water. So its a fantastic way to start to start the bed time routine. Firstly, take them over to your change table and undress them, all the while letting them know that you are about to put them into a bath for them to relax in. Put them into the bath and allow them to splash away to their hearts content whilst in your arms. When you are ready to take them out of the bath, let them know that you are going to do so, its all part of the routine and they will eventually know what you mean. Take them over to the change table and dress them, make sure you give them lots of kisses and cuddles while you do so.
Now take them to your change table and dry them. Again make sure you give them lots of kisses and cuddles so that they feel loved and again relaxed. Gently dry them and place them into their sleeping clothes. Let them know that soon you will be taking them to bed but first you’ll be taking them into their bedroom to place a nice game.
Perhaps read them a nice bedtime story with them on your lap, it will help further relax them and its definitely rewarding for you as well. Now its time to place them into their bed and get baby to sleep.
You want your baby to fall asleep without any assistance from you, otherwise whenever they wake up they will always expect you to help them go back to sleep, no matter what time of day or night and you certainly don’t want that. So place your baby into their bed, letting them know that they are going to have a beautiful sleep and lots of sweet dreams. Place your hand on them and let them know that you love them and that its time to go sleep. Don’t leave the room without saying anything else as that will be upsetting for them. As you walk out of the room tell them that you love them and that you will be back shortly to check on them and to make sure that they are okay. Most times if you have followed a nice relaxing bedtime routine to get baby to sleep you’ll find them fast asleep by the time you go back into the bedroom. As easy as that! They may not fall into a routine so quickly but if you keep trying it should happen eventually.

Baby Crip Bedding – An Overview
June 12, 2010 by Eryna Karti
Fitting out your baby’s nursery can seem like a big task, and it can be. You need everything to be special and perfect for your newborn, so that you baby’s room is an inviting place for you and your baby to be.
Many people like to try and make everything match, using colors and themes. Bedding makes up a big part of this, so it may even be the ideal place to start when you are designing the nursery.
Remember, your baby, at least to begin with, is going to be spending lots of time in bed, so you need to choose baby crib bedding that will be comfortable and practical. If it looks nice too, then that’s even better. But your baby’s comfort needs to come first.
Generally, your next options are whether to buy each item individually, or just buy a bedding set. Buying a baby bedding set is often a good option, as it generally works out to be cheaper than buying each piece individually. Also, you don’t have to worry about whether or not everything will look co-ordinated, because it automatically is.
Usually a baby crib bedding set will include a baby blanket, cot sheet and also a quilt. You don’t need a pillowcase, as it’s not recommended that baby use a pillow.
Now you can start to look at individual designs. If you know your baby’s gender, then you may want to select something appropriate. It is a bit stereotyped, but generally girls have pink and boys have blue. If you are keen to be surprised on the day your baby is born, then you will want to go for something more neutral, like yellow, white or green.
Besides having plain sheets, you might prefer to find baby bedding with a theme. Again, if you know the gender of the baby, you would look for fairies, butterflies or princesses for girls, and fire engines, trucks or trains for boys. For a non-gender specific theme, check out cartoon characters like Winnie the Pooh (my personal favorite!), teddy bears or zoo animals.
When you can’t find something you like in the marketplace, don’t despair – you can always make your own sheets and blankets. For those who are less enthused about sewing, perhaps a family member can make them, or you can even pay someone to have them customized. Doing it yourself is another way to make sure that your baby’s bedding is unique.
And when you’re really stuck for ideas, you are able to hire an experienced person who can design the whole nursery for yourself, and choose appropriate baby bedding as part of the service.
In the end, make sure the bedding you have chosen feels safe and practical. All other considerations such as design and color are secondary. So if you ask right questions when you go to the baby store, you will be confident you’ve made a great choice.

Bonding Time With My First Baby
Most parents hit it off with their little ones right away. The tremendous need to bond with a newborn is normally triggered by an intense emotion that makes a parent-particularly the mother-want to love and protect her young offspring. For some people, however, this may require a longer period especially after a complicated pregnancy or a strenuous labor. Nonetheless, ‘my first baby” guidebooks usually reiterate the value of bonding time in spite of the preceding circumstances.
The Importance Of Bonding Time
Research suggests that babies who cultivate satisfying relations with their parents are likely to develop into well-adjusted and confident adults. Plus, they have also shown to do better in school.
In truth, the necessity of spending some quality time with your baby has an absolutely natural origin. It is actually an instinctive process-one that had been interwoven in the fabric of human nature.
Bonding Tips For Parents
If you wish to improve your relationship with your little one, you surely need to make an effort towards the fulfillment of your goal. First-time parents-such as yourself-would certainly consider the following bonding tips to be of use.
1) Use touch
One of the baby’s earliest means of communication is through touch. So make the most of this by holding your little one closely. You may cradle him (or her) in your arms or make use of a sling as an alternative in case you need to carry out a few chores.
2) Breastfeed
Breastfeeding a baby will guarantee that he (or she) gets frequent close contact with his (or her) mom. This certainly helps foster an early connection between mother and child. Sadly, the task isn’t always that easy. In order to resolve breastfeeding difficulties and other related issues, you may seek the advice of a health counselor or simply talk to an experienced parent who can help you with your predicament.
3) Sing or hum a tune
It doesn’t really matter if you”re an excellent singer or not so long as you can carry a tune. Your little angel will love listening to your voice just the same. Even the metrical nature of popular nursery rhymes is extremely comforting and is thought to facilitate language development.
4) Give your baby a massage
A massage offers a more planned and controlled manner of touching your little one. And aside from the excellent bonding time it affords, it greatly encourages your baby’s mental and physical growth.
5) Talk to your baby
Although your little one may not comprehend what you”re saying, he (or she) will love hearing you talk about anything under the sun. In addition, your baby will acquire confidence from the fact that you”re always there for him (or her) even though you still have tons of household chores to do.
6) Make the most of daily activities
Even the time spent for diaper-changing can be converted into a wonderful bonding period. Be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to just talk to, kiss or cuddle your baby. Constantly tell your little angel how much you love and adore him (or her). This will also help you forget about what a messy task it is to frequently change diapers. In other words, it’s like hitting two birds with only one stone.
So don’t let a fast-paced life stop you from bonding with your baby. Learn to relax and take pleasure in every minute you spend with him (or her). Books with ‘my first baby” themes will almost certainly tell you the same thing about the value of spending some quality time with your little one.
Are Digital Baby Monitors Safe For Children?
Today, almost everything has gone digital. Cellular phones, computers and even simple household appliances, such as telephones and microwaves, have all switched to digital technology. However, the growing concern of many is whether these hi-tech gadgets can be considered safe for our health, especially in gadgets such as baby monitors that are usually placed in such a close distance to children.
A lot of parents nowadays fear that if they use a digital monitor to help them keep watch of their child, they might be exposing their offspring to too much of electromagnetic radiation and this may cause significant damage to the child’s nervous system. Children, after all, are much more prone to damage as their systems are still developing at such a young age. So we ask the question that many of these parents want to know, is it really safe to use digital baby monitors for children?
What is Electro-SMOG and How Does It Threaten Our Health?
Electro-SMOG is the electromagnetic energy that is emitted by common gadgets in our home such as our televisions, cordless phones, microwaves and digital baby monitors. Studies have been made over the years claiming that too much exposure to electro-SMOG can result to health problems affecting the nervous system of the body. A person may have such initial symptoms of headaches, disruptive sleep patterns, chronic fatigue and abnormal behavioral patterns in children.
How Are Baby Monitors Different from Other Gadgets with Electro-smog?
Because of the huge possibility of the electromagnetic energy used in the digital technology of modern baby monitors, a lot of parents are fearful for the safety of their child. But on the other hand, manufacturing companies of these digital monitors claim that the amount of radiation that their baby monitors emit are at levels that do not pose serious danger to children.
Phillips is one of these manufacturing companies that claim that the level of electro-smog released by their gadgets are 10,000 times lower from the safety norms that are accepted internationally. The company also adds a recommendation that for parents to have total peace of mind, they can position the monitoring device at least a meter away from the child.
Going digital in such technologies has many benefits, but there really are minimal risks involved. The digital models of baby monitors have proven over the years to be better in reception as compared to that of the older analog version. These models have also proven to be much better at providing privacy for the family. However, for many parents who are concerned with the safety of their child, switching to modern technology can certainly be frightening.
But as long as one knows how to set certain prevention methods such as placing the monitor at a safe distance from the baby (at least one meter) and not adding a lot of other appliances inside the baby’s room such as televisions or computers, then much harm on the child’s health can greatly be prevented. Always keep in mind that the monitor’s distance from the child is very important.
The greater the distance of the monitor from the child, then there is also a greater reduction to the amount of exposure to radiation. Most manufacturing companies nowadays have also been improving their products to make them less health threatening.
In conclusion, parents can always have the option for opting to the hi-tech digital baby monitors especially because its many benefits, but if fear for the safety of the child is still present, always remember that there are precautions that one can follow to minimize risks.
Baby Monitors: Mom’s Best Friend
Pregnant mothers take care of themselves during gestation knowing that everything that they come upon would affect the tiny baby growing inside them. She would take every precaution to avoid anything that is detrimental to the baby. Part of it would be choosing the appropriate nutrition and activity to ensure the baby’s safety. The mother already loves the unborn child.
After nine long months of waiting, finally a baby is born into this world. Seeing how cumbersome the baby is, the parent’s protective nature is invoked. Any parent would vow to do everything for the baby and would not let anything harm the newborn. She would want to keep an eye on her child 24/7. However, there are a variety of roles that a parent has to perform. She has to divide her time in taking care of the baby and fulfilling her responsibilities to other family members, and most especially to themselves.
A mother has one, two, many things to do around the house while making certain that their well-being plus their husbands satisfaction is maintained. Keeping watch of the baby round the clock is simply an impossible feat. Nowadays, the wonder of technology has contributed much to the comfort of mankind. And mothers are truly blessed to have baby monitors in their aid that would ease their burden.
What are Baby Monitors
Baby monitors are technological device that serve as a pseudo mother who is in vigil at bedside. It is a radio transmitter that release FM (Frequency Modulated) signal most commonly between the ranges of 48,830 to 48,890 MHz. These devices have two components, the transmitter and the receiver. Transmitters are being placed 8-10 feet within the baby or closer if possible.
Sounds coming from the baby are being picked up and a signal is then transmitted to the receiver. On the other hand, receivers are being carried around the house or place somewhere that is accessible to the mother or whoever it is designated to keep watch of the baby. Usually, the transmitter is plugged into a socket from its stationary position while the receiver is battery operated since it could be brought anywhere.
What Baby Monitors Do
Baby monitors generally help mothers oversee the baby without being stuck inside the baby’s room all day. Through this, mothers are able to do what must be done around the house thereby accomplishing a lot. From the time baby monitors have been first released, countless of innovations have been made.
A variety of products not only permits auditory signals to be heard but even allow the mother from the receiver’s end to visualize their baby and play music to soothe the baby even from a distance. To this date, they are no longer just an electric device to keep an eye when the baby cries but offers a number of advantages in ascertaining the baby’s well-being.
Some top of the trade devices have sensors placed under the baby’s mattress that detects even the most subtle of movements including the baby’s breathing. When no movement is detected for a span of 20 seconds or if breathing is below the medically accepted rate, an alarm is triggered thereby notifying mommy.
This proves to be truly useful in perceiving life threatening conditions. Whatever type moms choose to have, it will contribute enormously in making mom’s life easier. Baby monitors are definitely mom’s best friend.
What Foods To Avoid While Breast Feeding
Many women find that they can eat whatever they may like during breast feeding. Even though it’s true that some strongly favored foods can change the taste of your milk, many babies seem to enjoy the varieties of breast milk flavors. Occasionally, your baby may get cranky at the breast after you eat certain foods. If you notice this happening, simply avoid that particular food.
The most common offenders during breast feeding include chocolate, spices, citrus fruits, garlic, chili, lime, gassy vegetables, and fruits with laxative type effects, such as prunes and cherries.
You can have a cup or two of coffee a day, although too much caffeine can interfere with your baby’s sleep and even make him or her cranky. Keep in mind, caffeine is found in many soda’s, tea, and even over the counter type medicine as well.
It’s okay to have an alcoholic beverage every now and the, although having more than one drink can increase your blood alcohol level, putting the alcohol into your breast milk.
If you are planning to have more than one drink at a time, it’s best to wait two hours or more per drink before you resume any type of nursing or breast feeding. There is no need to pump and dump unless your breasts are full and its time to feed your baby. While breast feeding, any type of heavy drinking should be avoided.
Before you actually omit any foods from your diet, you should talk to your doctor. If you avoid certain foods and it causes a nutritional imbalance, you may need to see a nutritionist for advice on taking other foods or getting nutritional supplements.

Cloth nappies allow your baby’s skin to breathe and dramatically reduce the uncomfortable feeling that your baby often endures in disposable nappies.
## No.2 It is safer for the planet!
Making use of reusable diapers is also the best way to go because it is more eco-friendly as opposed to disposable ones that are extremely difficult to get rid of and definitely not recyclable. There is a huge amount of trash all over the globe that are loaded with these chemical-filled diapers and the only way to stop this number from growing is by start switching to reusable nappies which can be worn again and again!
## No.3 It is more cost-efficient!
As well as improving your child’s comfort levels and saving the world, cloth nappies also save you money! Spend out on reusable diapers and within a few months you will see massive savings…
