How old are babies when they really start to bounce in bouncer seats?

My son Noah is 3 months and 3 weeks old. He will sit in the bouncer for a little while at a time and he will sometimes kick around a little, but he never really gets it going. My older son is 7 and when he was a baby he would go wild in his bouncer. Also Im not sure if his bouncer may be messed up, because a friend accidentally smooshed it, we stretched it back out and re-shaped it but its still a little uneven. So, how old are your babies and how do they bounce?

My daughter is 16 almost 17 months now, but she bounced around a LOT around…7 or 9 months, I think? I can’t remember exactly. I’m pregnant again and I have mommy brain. I did get it on video though! If you want to watch!

My son is 7mon and never really got his bouncer to bounce, he just always sits quietly in it. His exersaucer with springs is another story though. He jumps and jumps and jumps in that thing. He loves it.

A lot of babies are different. Some tend to want to just sit there while others like to go crazy!!
My son started bouncing around when he was about 6 months old.
My sisters boys started about 8 to 9 months, where her daughter started about 6 months as well.
It really depends if your little one is a calm baby and likes to sit and watch where others like to explore and play and have fun…!!! :)
    So don’t worry!
Your little one will eventually get the hang of it.
Just enjoy the moments as they come because they go by fast!

My son was about 3 month old. He would kick his feet like crazy. Thats how he would bounce himself. Now he is almost 5 months old and wants nothing to do with his bouncer. He won’t sit in it for more then a few seconds with out getting bored. We ended up buying him a jumperoo. Here is a video of my son kicking or trying to make himself bounce in the bouncer.

I think that all babies are different. My daughter is 13 months and she likes climbing in and out of her bouncer. Sometimes she even stands on it (facing the back), holds onto the back rest and jumps. But, she never “bounced” in it.
