i think that the age would be 12. that’s when the court thinks you’re old enough to make your own decisions.
A child cannot choose at any age. The noncustodial parent would need to sue to modify the court order and the court may consider the wishes of the child. Once a child is 14, it must consider the wishes of the child, but even then, the court does not have to agree with the child.
