My one year poops after every meal, causes diaper rash. It’s red, a times his skin bleeds in tiny spots. I use everything from Desitin to Powder, but nothing seems to work. I also changed his diaper brand, but nothing.

A&D. They have a Prevention and a Treatment cream. You can find this at your local Target, WalMart, CVS…

There is a cream called Corona’s. Its primary use is for livestock such as horses and cows, it is very rich in lanolin and I’m telling you buddy it works like nothing I’ve ever seen. After two uses that redness is less red and if you use it every time you’ll never see that rash again. Its not real expensive either. Good luck.

Monistat. …oddly enough–the same thing that makes vaginal infections cause diaper rash.

They’ll out grow it with potty training. Diapers are always moist.

I would talk to your doctor to rule out any health issue but as far as diaper rash cream I love Aveeno’s. I works great, wipes away easily, and smells good.

When your baby has a diaper rash don’t clean them with wipes, use a soft wash cloth with plain warm water and pat them dry with a clean towel and apply aquaphor healing ointment to protect their skin so it can heal. The wipes make it worse and can sting.
If it doesn’t get better after a day or so call the doctor, although you might want to do that right away if it’s already to the point of bleeding. Good luck!

my favorite is boudreuxs butt paste (spelled wrong). with my son who is 3 months old, i was using that, and his rash wouldn’t go away, i took him to the doctor and it ended up being a yeast infection, so you may want to consider that.

Get the cream that has the highest amount of zinc you can find. Zinc is a great skin healer and it will also repel the wetness.

I found what worked best for all my 4 was some diaper free time every day and if they had a rash then I used IHLE’S PASTE and the rash would be gone in a day.

the best ointment I found for my son was A&D ointment (the one in the brownish/gold box, NOT the white creamy stuff in the blue box). it is more of a vaseline-type based ointment…rather than zinc oxide based. however, your son may require a prescription cream, so I would advise taking him to the doctor…just in case!
